Big Bingo Win for Lucky Grandmother

One grandmother who has certainly got lady luck on her side, walked away from the Gala Bingo Club in Clifford Street, Newcastle, more than ₤320,000 richer, after winning the Platinum National Bingo prize. She started playing bingo when she was a young girl, but gave it up for more than twenty years as she felt she was never winning. Then she joined the Gala Bingo and started playing again, about three to four times a week. Obviously her persistence has now paid off, and this massive win is proof of that.
She told the National bingo game that she is over the moon with her huge win, but it doesn’t seem to have sunk in as yet. She also said that her head feels like cotton wool! Her previous wins never amounted to more than ₤300. Her win came after she called full house in forty one numbers; that is not a bad call really. The Platinum jackpot prize stood at ₤311,966 and she took that, the Regional was ₤1,220, and she got that, she also got the National jackpot prize of ₤6,890 and the house prize of ₤615.
Her husband, who doesn’t play bingo, did not believe her when she first told him how much she had won, but they now plan to buy the council house they have been living in. She said that they have done a lot of work to the house during the years they have lived in it, they like the area and are planning to stay there. I think she should buy a laptop and be introduced to online bingo, although maybe not she is already seventy one years old. She has also asked not to be named.
