Bingo Club Armed Robbery

Sometimes I really thank my lucky stars that I am living in the gun-free UK. Now I know that we are not a nation of Saints and that the odd few killers and armed robbers do slip through the cracks, but really! We do not have it all that bag, where in the UK do you read about a pair of armed robbers entering a bingo club that shares its proceeds with charities and them stealing the nights takings plus a couple of the patrons purses? Nowhere really, the last bingo crime in the UK that I read of was a poor old dear who had her handbag snatched while walking with a friend to play bingo at their local club.

Not so in the US it seems, they really are a bunch of cowboys in that country, anyone and everyone can obtain a gun licence and carry a firearm, it is positively barbaric. Two gunmen walked into a Denton, Texas bingo hall that is operated by several charities, they were dresses in ski masks and sunglasses and they promptly proceeded to rob the bingo club of their evenings takings, they made all of the patrons lie face down on the floor, went into the office and took an undisclosed amount of money, plus the hand-bags and left.

Now I ask you, with tears in my eyes, what kind of people get together, get armed and plot to rob the local bingo club?
