Bingo Luck for JCB Driver

A Wrexham JCB driver and his wife enjoyed a wonderful Christmas this year after walking away from the Mecca Bingo Club in Wrexham on Christmas Eve more than £17,000 richer, this makes the club one of the luckiest in the UK at present as the lucky gent walked away on Christmas eve with this prize, and another winner left the club just as happy six days previously.

Fifty – two year old Barry Darbyshire and his wife are regular bingo players, they have been members at the Mecca Bingo Club since it was converted from and old Odeon cinema and they love the game so much that they play bingo two or three times per week. He said that he didn’t realise that so few numbers had been called when he called bingo, but realised he had won big, when his wife who was playing with him, began to cry she was so shocked.

The couple have not yet decided what they are going to use their bingo winnings for, but will definitely put it to good use, however, they did enjoy a smashing Christmas with their two sons and three grandchildren. This bingo win should go a long way to kicking off the New Year in style.
