Bingo Winner Thought Her Win Was a Mistake

A mother of two from Hednesford thought that some kind of horrible mistake had been made, when she was told that she had won more than ₤37,000. The thirty-seven year old woman said that she felt sick and was in complete shock at the news.

Lisa Cieslewicz was playing bingo at the Hednesford Bingo Club in Victoria Street, in the afternoon when she won the National bingo prize of ₤35,695, a Regional prize of ₤2,000 and last but certainly not least a house prize of ₤30 after completing a full house in forty-three calls.

Lisa works for a cleaning company and her husband Zygmunt is a builder, the couple have two young sons ages twelve and four years. She has been playing bingo for a few years now and her biggest win was ₤700, she plays quite regularly, usually about once a week.

She said that the entire club cheered her, but she couldn’t even speak because she thought it was a mistake, her husband also didn’t believe her, but after they realised it was all true they partied until 3 in the morning. She plans to use the money to build a new kitchen and go on holiday to the Greek Island of Zante.
