Conservative Party Treasurer Invests in Online Bingo Software Business

Michael Spencer who is the Treasurer of the Conservative Party in the UK, recently invested ₤1.7 million in a mobile gaming company that also provides software products for online bingo operators. This means he has purchased a shareholding of 15.8% in the business. He said that the firm which is called Probability, is believed to be in a position to become one of the major players in this exciting growth arena of online bingo and mobile gaming.

Mr. Spencer has previously invested in the gaming sector and in 2003 he sold his shareholding in the online bookmakers, Blue Square to the Rank group who operate Mecca Bingo. The CEO of Probability announced that Mr. Spencer’s investment in the firm was huge and they were obviously delighted to obtain his seal of approval as it would lend credibility to their business and in fact the entire online gaming and bingo sector.

Probability’s chief speciality is the provision of online gaming and bingo to mobile phone users and this is set to become the next big wave of technology based gaming in the bingo industry. I suppose then if the Treasurer of the Conservative Party believes this to be true, then we should certainly do so too.
