EU Warns Holland and Greece Over Unfair Online Bingo Protectionism

This seems to be an ongoing saga within many European Countries, they practice protectionism and biased EU Free Trade Regulations all in the name of retaining their online gaming monopolies and the business it generates for themselves.

In all other industries it appears that the principles of free trade apply, however not in the online bingo and gaming industry, I just cannot fathom what goes on in these people’s minds. How on earth can different sets of rules be applied to different industries?

The EC is forever warning countries that practice these monopolistic policies in terms of gaming and online bingo and the countries that are greedily feathering their own nests with the proceeds of not only the fruits of their unfair trade policies, but also from doing business in the countries such as the UK that do not practice these hoarding techniques. It gives me the absolute creeps!

The fact that the Remote Gambling Association has backed up the EU in its latest warning to Holland and Greece does not really hold out much hope for me regarding any benefit to UK online bingo operators, as these warnings seem to be going out left right and centre in Europe, with nothing of any great consequence really happening.
