Is Bingo Better Than Sex?

We recently reported on research conducted that said playing bingo for some women is better than sex. Actually what they said is that 12% of women from Leeds reported that they play online bingo more often than they indulge in sex.

However, that is just one research paper and when asked this question Natalie Kane, aged twenty-two, laughed and said she doesn’t know if she personally would find this to be the case but, the joy of having a big win on the bingo would probably supply a longer lasting satisfaction.

Ms. Lane is one of the new younger generation bingo players’, she plays at the Carlton Club in Partick, Glasgow, the largest independent bingo operators in Scotland and the British Isles. Research has suggested that the bingo industry is torn in two, because of the fact that they have to keep their older players happy, whilst at the same time satisfying the needs of the younger, more trendy, players.

There is a very strong feeling of tradition in bingo and generations of women have attended bingo, while their husbands did something else, like go to the football. Ms. Kane was introduced to the game by her mother and Gran and now she is hooked. She loves it! But one thing is certain, she doesn’t think it is better than sex!
