Krankies Star in TV Ad for STV Bingo

The Krankies, Ian and Janette, who have been in show business for over thirty-five years, recently returned to Glasgow to film a new TV commercial for STV Bingo. The Krankies rise to fame began in the 1970’s and peaked in the 80’s when they appeared on television in Krankie Klub, Crackerjack and KTV, they appear in the advert dressed as pink and blue bingo balls.

Bingo is a very popular pastime in Scotland and thousands of Scots have taken to online bingo like ducks to water. The Krankies ad shows them as bingo balls in a bingo machine watching as online bingo players play from their computers, the ads contain witty lines and repartee and are not to be missed! The Krankies were delighted to be back in Sctotland after headlining in major theatres throughout the UK and Australia, and said that it was the first time they had every had to spend the day in Lycra cat suits and huge bingo ball outfits.
