Luton Bingo Appears to Be on the “Fast Track” to Success

We recently reported on a Great-Grandmother from Luton, who is a bingo player, and has finally enjoyed some serious success playing bingo. The land-based bingo industry in the British Isles has been undergoing some very hard times at the moment.

Not only in Luton, but in the rest of the country too! There have been a variety of issues that are plaguing the industry, threatening unemployment as well as being perceived to be bringing a great British institution to its kneel.

However, many bingo clubs appear to have been taking these changes into their stride, thinking outside of box and finding ways in which to attract custom to either the old institutions as well as attract new custom to new bingo playing institutions. Luton is no exception.

Recently when the Gala Bingo was closed in the Galaxy Centre; Luton, Mecca Bingo lost no time in promoting their services! What They did, was to promote a free bus service, for a limited period of time, taking old patrons from the Gala bingo to the Mecca bingo. What a fantastic concept! Although this was a limited period offering, it still had all the dynamics required to transfer allegiance from Gala to Mecca bingo and in my consideration was a really good marketing tool.
