Microgame and Parlay Entertainment Team Up

Parlay Entertainment are one of the online bingo industries biggest online software providers and it has just been announced that they are to team up together with Microgame to launch two new online networks. Each one of these new networks are set to be powered by an internet platform that will combine both Parlay Entertainments casino and online bingo gaming products together with Microgame’s existing game management and it is going to be interesting to see just what they will come up with.

The Italian online market is strictly regulated and Microgame already provides online services in their country for sports and poker wagering. It has been said that the first networked online bingo software will be introduced to the Italian market, but this will only be able to take place once Italy has added online bingo to their list of approved regulated online games and this is expected to happen sometime in 2009, which is not far off now.

The second of these networked online bingo games between Parlay and Microgame is thought to be based in Malta and these will offer online games to the international market, so they will be a lot more accessible for all that want to play on this particular online software brand.

Scott White, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Parlay Entertainment, had this to say on the subject, “We are delighted to partner with Microgame to offer our leading edge games in Italy, which will be a new regulated marketplace for Parlay and for bingo. We view the opportunity with Microgame, making use of their existing relationships, infrastructure and large customer base in Italy, as an excellent way to enter this new market for bingo.”

Fabrizio D’Aloia, Managing Director of Microgame, said: “Microgame is honoured to collaborate with Parlay, the first commercial supplier of Internet bingo software in the world, as its partner for the Italian market. The agreement will allow Microgame to offer Italian gaming operators served by it the opportunity to immediately enter this new market as protagonists and with success by combining the powerful characteristics of Parlay bingo with the functionalities of Microgame’s regulated gaming service provider.”

It looks like it is exciting times for Parlay Entertainment and this new partnership with Microgame could prove to be very fruitful for them, especially if online bingo takes of in the same way in Italy as it has done in the UK and Europe.
