Premiership Footballer Loves Bingo

We already wrote a short piece on the fact that the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo loves the odd game of bingo and it seems that more of our British footballers are coming out of the closet, or should I say woodwork, it might be more politically correct, in terms of their love for the game of bingo. The latest footballing gentleman to admit that he has a real fondness for bingo is Middlesbrough “Boro” defender, David Wheater.

So while other flash UK footballers are off buying flashy sports cars, chasing high maintenance women, and supposedly trying to improve their golf handicaps. David, who actually met his present partner at a local bingo club, actually likes to go and visit a nearby amusement facility, where he is a regular, to enjoy an ice cream and a game of bingo. He has even suggested that he is thinking about using the extra funds from his new deal to open a bingo club.

This England, under twenty-one defender is a bit disappointed though, because when last he paid ma visit to his local bingo club, he was informed that it would only be opened again at Easter, so he is going to have a bit of a wait before he plays again.
