Zorbing Bingo Ball Mania comes to Liverpool with Ladbrokes Bingo

Ladbrokes Bingo are currently in the process of making a new TV Bingo advert and in doing so they have hit the streets of Liverpool bringing with them huge zorb riding bingo balls. The people of Liverpool must wondered just what hit them as loads of these multi coloured bingo balls took over their streets in a three day advert shoot.

Ladbrokes Bingo have an advertising budget of over £3 million pounds and there are using over 180 extras in the making of their new TV advert that is due to hit our TV screens by late September time. From the pictures that I have seen of these massive spear like bingo balls that has people rolling around inside them the advert looks quite fun but the fruit will be in the pudding so to speak, once their advert is aired live on TV.

Charlie Goodenough who is the acquisition marketing manager for Ladbrokes Bingo said: “This is a really exciting project for Ladbrokes Bingo, and we are delighted to be bringing bingo on such a big scale to the streets of Liverpool. We wanted to represent the fun, exciting nature of the game and we’re sure the giant bingo balls will make an impact on both Merseyside and across the country.”

Some streets in Liverpool were also closed off yesterday and they are expected to close more streets of tomorrow whilst the Ladbrokes TV advert is being filmed. As well as these giant zorbingo bingo balls, the ad will feature two little ducks, two fat ladies and a real life legs eleven. When the advert is aired you will see these bingo balls rolling past land mark buildings in Liverpool such as the Steble fountain, the liver building and St George’s Hall Museum and steps.

Will Ladbrokes Bingo grow even bigger now due to this advert being made or will it just be their balls? We will have to wait and see on that one, but whatever the outcome is the nation’s love of bingo has not wavered in over 40 years and this new advert from Ladbrokes Bingo dictates this fact.

   Ha ha, wow. Zorbing and Bingo? Bit of a crazy mix.

   Sounds like fun though. Wouldn’t have minded a go at that!

   Anyone else got any further information or pictures? Would love to see them.

   Look forward to seeing the final result!
