Bingo Advertising on Facebook and Twitter

You cannot seem to log onto Facebook now without being greeted with some sort of bingo gaming advert or another. Where is that delete button .

This social networking site really does seem to have taken bingo advertising to a whole new level and we have to say it is somewhat extreme to say the least. And that is not all, as there are also a number of bingo related gaming apps you can play and we are talking hundreds of them and not just a few.

As soon as you log onto your homepage on facebook there they are, one gaming add after another, so advertising this way must be proving to be very fruitful indeed for the companies involved. However this is sure to cost a fair bit as well, because as we know advertising certainly does not come cheap no matter where you are airing your wares.

There are of course other kinds of industry adverts listed on facebook, but gaming does seem to dominate.

Facebook is currently one of the best social networking sites on the net and ads placed with them do have the ability to reach hundreds of thousands of people in one fail swoop. They quite obviously make a packet from this kind of advertising, so don’t expect it to stop anytime soon.

It would be nice though (facebook) if we could choose whether we wanted ads like this constantly thrown in our face or not – and that is unlikely to ever happen either.

Twitter is another super social networking media guru, but unlike facebook they do not throw one ad after another at you. Which does pose the question – How does twitter make its money? As they lay on a great public service, but seemingly without any big advertising deals, although don’t be fooled as they are there, but very discreetly – which is great.

The only sort of advertising we really see on twitter as those (promoted tweets). They do list a couple of other advertising deals (promoted trends) and (promoted accounts).   But unlike facebook (bingo) advertising is not their name-o!
