Ladbrokes Bingo certainly took the bull by the horns last year, as they run one of the best online bingo campaigns and promotions that we have seen to date. Ladbrokes Bingo are in the hot seat on Bingo Press for January 2009, so if you want an insight into just what their bingo site is all about……read on!

We have seen lots of changes taking place at Ladbrokes Bingo throughout 2008 including a complete re-vamp of your online bingo site, what made you go down this route?

Well, listening to our customers really. We decided to have a complete make-over after receiving customer feedback about the site. This prompted a new layout, colour theme and some other great features to improve our player’s in-play experience. The new bingo lobby makes it even easier to jump into favourite games… Speaking of the games, the latest addition of 80-ball bingo means that Ladbrokes have now got a full suite of 90/80/75-ball, Speed and Pattern Bingo, showing that Ladbrokes Bingo is going from strength to strength, blossoming into one of the big online bingo players.

Laddies Lucky Loft is also a great new addition to the site. We really picked up on the disappointment of some players in the chat rooms that only had 1TG (one to go) when a game was won (we all know how it feels!).  Well, if you play Lucky Loft… you can turn a near miss into a guaranteed win… Anyone in the game with 1TG when house is called will see Laddie run though a house to reveal a bonus prize of up to £250. We are really proud of this feature as the idea was conceived here and is currently exclusive to Ladbrokes Bingo.  See it here first!

Can you give our readers an insight into what Ladbrokes Bingo have got lined up for their online bingo players in 2009?

We’d like to keep some surprises for all our players… but what we can tell you is that we will be continuing to grow our community, listening to our customers and creating an even more fun and rewarding environment to play online Bingo.

How many bingo rooms do you have?

We have three traditional 90-ball rooms (Bedroom, Lounge and Attic), one 80-ball room (Basement), two 75-ball rooms (Snug plus Room With A View where you can play Pattern Bingo), one Speed Bingo room (Garage), and three special/themed rooms (Who Wants to be A Millionaire, Laddies Lucky Loft and Joker Jackpot)… So with a total of ten there is plenty of room for everyone!

We know Ladbrokes Bingo house the exclusive “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” bingo room, so can you tell us a little bit more about this?

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? room is a themed bingo room which has Chris Tarrant as your bingo caller and a jackpot structure based on the famous 15 questions to a million. Jackpot prizes start at £100 if you win in 46 balls… and if you are lucky enough to get house in 15-17 calls the £1,000,000 jackpot is yours! There is also some great chat games to get involved in whilst playing including Fastest Finger First, 50:50 and Ask The Audience.

The bingo fairy has paid a fair few visits to Ladbrokes Bingo during 2008, but can you tell us just who was behind this innovative online bingo promotion? And does she have a name?

She may well have a name but to be honest… we can’t catch up with her to have a proper chat… she fly’s in and out of bingo rooms so quickly and only is interested in giving away cash! Maybe some of our players have had more luck chatting to her in the chat rooms, but to us she is quite simply known as ‘The Bingo Fairy’.
First appearing at Ladbrokes Bingo last May giving away £15,000 over the Bank Holiday weekend, the Bingo Fairy flew round again during summer sprinkling £50,000 to lucky roomies… and more recently this Christmas… giving Santa a run for his money dishing out a total of £100,000! The last thing we heard from her was that she’d be back for a surprise visit at some point during 2009…hurray!

Joker Jackpot has been a great new addition to your bingo site, so can you give us more info on just what this one is all about?

Joker Jackpot has gone down a treat with our players… and it’s not surprising as it’s a really fun game, slightly different from your classic bingo game.  Instead of 90-balls there are 54 cards so it’s a bit quicker than you standard 90-ball game of bingo too.  And, it’s actually not as complicated as it may first seem… Cards from a full deck including 2 joker cards (54 cards) are called out random, just like the numbers are called. The cards called are marked on the hands you have bought (each hand or 1 bingo ticket equivalent contains 9 cards) and there are 2 prizes to win – J pattern and Full House. The player/s who is the first to have all the cards marked off the J pattern wins the J pattern prize. The player/s who is the first to have all the cards marked off all 9 cards on their hand wins the Full House prize. Give it a go once and you’re sure to get the hang of it!

The Bingo Linx looks like great daily guaranteed games for your bingo players to take part in, so can you give us a run down on these please?

We’ve got a couple of types of daily linked games, both with fantastic guaranteed prizes – Firstly, ‘Bingo Linx’ is a massive online bingo game which links a network of bingo providers and their players.  Games take place twice daily at 6pm and 10:30pm every day of the week.  Also, ‘Ladbrokes Link’ games take place at every hour from 9am until midnight every day of the week.  Three rooms on the site (Lounge, Bedroom, Attic) all link together to form one big game of bingo.  The prize pools for all linked games are guaranteed to be big, and usually they’re always above the guaranteed prize pools as so many people are playing!

What is the online bingo community like at Ladbrokes Bingo?

There really is a great fun and friendly community in all our chat rooms and we’ve even added some animated emoticons so that all our roomies can share the excitement of the game as they chat! Can you tell us about any big games that Ladbrokes Bingo offer?

Its jackpots galore at Ladbrokes Bingo…As well as the linked games we mentioned earlier the 33-ball Cash-climber game also has one of the biggest prize pools which gets bigger and bigger every day the more people play.  With this game you have to get house in 33 balls or less to win a prize. The pot starts at £5000 so there is always something to win. There is also the 38-ball bonus with a guaranteed £2500 to win no matter how often it is won, and all you have to do with this one is get house in 38 balls or less (unless you are lucky enough to win it in 33-balls or less and grab the cash-climber prize first!).

What has been the biggest prize jackpot won at your online bingo site to date?

Our largest winners to date have all come from the 33 ball escalator promotion (more recently known as ‘Cash Climber’, although we have had numerous winners of the 38 ball and also on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.  We haven’t made anyone a millionaire yet, but we hope to one day!
