How long has Tombola Bingo been involved with bingo?

Tombola and its associated companies have been involved in Bingo for over 50 years.  We started out supplying bingo tickets to bingo halls, then went on to create free games for newspapers.  In 2000 we launched tombola which originally started out producing free online games for various websites including lastminute.com and Lycos.  We then identified an opportunity in the market for online bingo and in January 2006 we launched Sun Bingo with The Sun newspaper which was hugely successful. In 2008 when the contract ended launched our online bingo games on tombola.  So you could say we’ve done it all – apart from having our own bingo hall!

We offer the classic bingo games including Bingo 90, Bingo 80, Bingo 75 and Bingo Lite which offers tickets from only 2p.

We also offer a range of exclusive games which you won’t find on any other site.  A popular game is Cinco – the no skill card based game.  You buy a hand of cards and then the dealer turns a pack of cards over one by one.  Each time one of your cards comes up the get a chip on your card.  The first to get five chips wins – it’s that simple! It also has a jackpot of £20,000 and lately had a run of lots of winners!

We’ve just launched a new game as well which has been a big hit with our players – Bingo Roulette.  In this game you buy 8 chips which are placed on a roulette table.  Each time the roulette wheel spins if the number matches the number your chip is on the chip comes off the table.  First to clear the table of their chips wins!

Other games include Bandit which brings to community of bingo to the slot machine, Roller-Coaster – images bingo on a roller-coaster, Battleships where you have to sink your opponents ships and Hamster Race – where you place bets on racing hamsters!

Over recent months we have seen one free game after the other launch at tombola bingo, do you have any more of these in the pipeline?

Yes – however its top secret!  We are always working on new game ideas and have started working on a new free game, however that’s all I can say for now.  We love our free games and we like to reward our players for   their loyalty.
