Bingo-winning mum Scoops ₤10,500

While playing at the Gala Bingo Club in St. Joseph’s Crescent, Chineham, Susan Ralph, who is on maternity leave at the moment, pipped everyone to the post and took home ₤10,500 in the Gala 5 game. She gave birth to a son in January and says that the money is really going to come in handy, particularly because she is still on maternity leave. The twenty eight year old mother of two said that the money had come at the perfect time. She is a sales team leader for Barclays Bank.
When she won, she said that she was very shocked and she actually thought she was going to pass out! While she was playing the game, she said that she didn’t think she had a chance, then her seven first numbers came up and she knew there was something of a chance for her. When she finally caught the full house it was the best feeling in the world.
This is not the fist time Susan has won either, last August she won ₤600 and her husband is converted too. He used to laugh at her for going to play bingo, but now he wants to play also. She first started playing bingo when she became pregnant as it was a way to meet up with her friends for a laugh and a bit of fun without having a drink.
Perhaps she should introduce her husband to online bingo, that way he can play incognito and it might be a way fro him to win some money without going to the Bingo club and her certainly won’t get laughed at either. Susan is going to spend the money on a new car and the rest is going on the new baby.
