British Online Bingo Business Summit

In the run up to the third British Online Bingo Business Summit, I thought it might be interesting to discuss some of the things that were learned at the last summit, this way we will be able to compare notes after the third summit and see what, if anything has changed.

At the time of the Online Bingo Business Summit in September 2007 it was found that:

There are a growing number of online bingo sites that specifically target the UK market with nearly 200 presently operating.

The core audience for online bingo players in the UK is age 20 – 45, this is believed to be a much younger demographic than the land based game.

More than 250,000 people in the UK have tried the online version of bingo (remember these figures are from September 2007!)

Most online bingo developers have followed Parlay in regards to the type of online bingo product they supply.

“Bingo Tarts” is the name given to the people who troll a preponderance of bingo sites looking for the best deal.

In Spain, there are more men playing bingo online than women.

It has been predicted that online bingo will be worth $1.16 billion by the year 2012.

Well these points can give us some food for thought before the next bingo summit, and it will be very interesting to see how things have changed and how quickly!
