Coatbridge Produces another Platinum Jackpot Winner

The town of Coatbridge is fast becoming a very lucky place to play bingo after a grandmother just won over £168,000 at her local Gala Bingo Club. It was only Easter this year that a lady broke the world record for the biggest ever bingo win when she won just under a record £1.2 million on the national bingo games platinum jackpot!
The 62 year old lady asked to remain anonymous, but she did speak to the national bingo games gaming body about here huge bingo win and this is what she had to say. “I am still not over the shock yet, but I am delighted, over the moon. I have been playing bingo since I was old enough and started going with my Mum. I have always played at the same Club, it was the County then. It was really strange. The date was the 27th of the 7th and number 7 and 27 were the last two numbers I needed for the full house,” she added.
This latest platinum bingo win was at Gala Bingo in Coatbank Street and it was calling house in 43 numbers that won this lucky gran such a super cash prize. She won a whopping £160,250 on the platinum jackpot, the national jackpot prize of £6,880, the regional prize of £1,064 and Gala Bingo’s own in house prize £650. This gave the lady total winnings of £168,844 for a afternoon at her local bingo club.
The lady is married with three daughters and 6 grandchildren, who she said will be treated from her bingo win.
Whatever the platinum jackpot prize stands at on the last Sunday of the month it will be won by the lucky bingo player who calls house on the national bingo game in the lowest amount of calls. The afternoon and evening session split the jackpot prize money between them, so at least two bingo players will be in for a huge jackpot bingo win out of all the bingo clubs that participate in the national bingo game.
As from 31st August Gala Bingo are withdrawing from the national bingo game, so their bingo players now only have a few weeks left to take part in the national bingo game. Gala Bingo will be introducing an enhanced version of their high 5 jackpot game.
