Here we go again, another bingo hall closure. Although I cannot see it as the death knell that many bingo pundits have been predicting, as it seems that some bingo halls are only doing the same as other businesses that find themselves in similar circumstances. If the bingo hall is not generating viable revenues then it closes down and focuses operations in another area, I am sure that Woolworths would do exactly the same thing.

New TV Bingo Show for the UK

It has recently come to light that the UK will soon be hosting a National Television bingo show, much like the one hosted in the US and Australia. “Bingo Night Live” is to be aired by the terrestrial television service ITV, it will be free to play and will be in place of the ITV play programmes.

Pregnant Woman Brings Mum Bingo Luck

Tracey Firth a forty-four year old human resources officer from Gomersdal, persuaded her heavily pregnant daughter to accompany her to play bingo, hoping that she would either bring her luck or that the surprise of a win might also shock her daughter into labour, and even though she managed to win £18,200, she still had to wait for another five days to pass before the birth of her second grandchild.
