Bingo Groups Delighted by Sutcliffe Move

I suppose that even though the announcement to increase the number of lucrative, high paying slots in bingo halls was announced yesterday, it is going to be active in the media for some time to come. It is also bound to raise some controversy and different opinions from different sectors. But all that being said the big bingo groups are delighted by this decision. It allows them to double the amount of these machines in their bingo venues and hopefully lift some of the economic burden from their shoulders.

Now that we have heard from the Government on their decision to have more high paying slots machines available for bingo clubs, the bingo clubs must be rejoicing from the rooftops. Although the move is not a huge change, it does double the amount of these slot machines for bingo halls and therefore doubles any income they derive from them. I have just read that the relaxation of the laws Governing the amount of high paying slot machines in British bingo halls might just be the trigger that triggers the break up or sale of the Rank group that operates Mecca Bingo in the UK.
