Forty-five Year Bingo Veteran Wins Big

After having been an avid bingo player for more than forty-five years, one lucky bingo player has finally made it into the big time. The pensioner, a sixty-nine year old woman got such a fright after they had announced her more than £11,000 bingo win that she actually burst into tears has been a member of the Gateshead, Gala Bingo Club ever since it was first opened.

Her delightful surprise took place during the Afternoon Delight game when she called full house in forty-five numbers. She said that the staff were so nice, the room burst out in applause for her good fortune and she was just so overcome by the generosity of it all that she went to pieces.

This bingo winner who has four children, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, plays at the same club about three times a week with one of her friends who she is going to split her winnings 50/50 with. She also intends to use her share of the money to purchase a new TV, redecorate her home and take a nice holiday somewhere. She doesn’t know where yet but she does fancy a trip to Jersey as she has never visited this beautiful island before.
