Gala Bingo Leads in the Industry

With all the big bingo brands whining about the smoking ban and double taxation, one has to ask themselves what it is that Gala Bingo is doing right, because they have increased their profits this years by 10.6%. Although this figure represents their pre tax profits it is still a pretty fair shake, all things considered.
Gala Bingo is a privately owned concern and the group spokesperson is saying that the group is still cautious about the market for 2008, they will be forging ahead with their plans to tackle the Government regarding the impact of double taxation, and if the market does worsen they will look a matters more closely if and when the time arises.
They have stated that the double slap on the wrist with the smoking ban and the taxation issue has affected business but not nearly as badly as it has with the other groups. Perhaps Gala Bingo has what it takes when it comes down to brass tacks and they are fit to survive the bingo slump, and now with their venture into China to open bingo halls in the Hebei province, they can probably look forward to huge increases in revenue.
