Gala Bingo Teams Up With Nectar

Yes, its official land-based bingo clubs have started thinking out of the box. I was wondering when they would start to come up with new and innovative ideas to attract customers. The smoking ban and biased taxation issues have taken their toll, however bingo clubs appear to be bouncing back.

I have seen one or two examples of innovative marketing but not really anything that appears as though it will solve all problems and even then they appear to be sporadic. However, this looks like it is something new and exciting, and it offers long term benefits.

Gala Bingo have teamed up with Nectar, one of the largest awards programmes in the UK, the aim is to counter the effect of the negative impacts recently imposed on bingo in the UK. It is hoped that by offering UK bingo players in Gala Bingo Clubs, Nectar points, it will entice them to play more and also draw a new audience.

Membership to Nectar is free and members are able to collect points from all establishments who subscribe to the Nectar points programme. So swipe your card at Gala Bingo Clubs, BP garages, Sainsbury’s, Debenhams or any other Nectar partner and redeem your points in any of these establishments too. Who knows, points redeemed for grocery shopping could pay for your bingo entertainment!
