San Manuel will attempt to set the Guinness world record for the most bingo players participating in just the one game of bingo on 31st August and this big bingo event is due to be held during the Pepsi 500 Nascar race. San Manuel first won the title of the “largest bingo house” back in July 2006, but just a year later a group in Columbia broke his record, so they are now all set to try and win it back again.
When San Manuel first broke the Guinness book of world records there was more than 53,000 bingo players participating in the game and it will be interesting to see, just how many spectators turn out for this next world record attempt.
Auto club speedway and San Manuel of Indian bingo and casino have pulled forces to attempt this record and they will be bringing the game of bingo to thousands of motor sport enthusiasts on the day. Every person that enters the stadium will be given a free bingo ticket and a game of bingo would just not be the same if there was not real prizes up for grabs and this massive game of bingo will be no different as all winning bingo cards will be entered into a draw where there is a prize fund of $20,000 to be won.
Steve Lengel, who is the executive director of operations for San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino said, “At San Manuel, we’re always thinking outside the box. We knew combining one of the largest Bingo houses in the country with motor sports biggest racing organization would mean big things. We’re all fired up about our upcoming record breaking and we’re ready to put the pedal to the metal.”
The speedway stadium will temporarily be turned into a massive open air bingo hall for this world record attempt and tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the Labour day weekend race and take part in the bingo 500 race to hold the largest bingo house ever in the world.
