Ninety Three Year Old Lily, Named the “Perfect” Bingo Player

Lily English is a ninety – three year old woman who hails from Artists Way, Andover, and she has been named the perfect bingo player. It has been calculated that she has counted off more than 10,000 games since she first joined the Mecca Bingo Club in Junction Road, forty years ago. She first became a member there in 1967! Imagine that, forty years of playing and she still plays six days a week. Lily says that her grandfather worked until he was 95 and she recons that she still has another good ten years of bingo playing left in her.
Lily seriously maintains that going to play bingo is what keeps her fit and alert. She said that she definitely finds that it keeps her mind working, but mostly she likes the atmosphere. She likes it because it is a bright happy place and she like to attend bingo to meet new people and greet old friends. Just think what a dreadful thing it would be for Lily if her bingo club had to close down, I mean the implications could be devastating!
This young ninety-three year old denies that she is an expert bingo player, although she has won prizes of several hundred pounds. Although she did say that she has learned the skill of knowing where on the cards the numbers will come up. She also said that she doesn’t have a favorite number, she likes all the number as long as they are the ones that come up. I except that Lily is a bit old to introduce online bingo to, and I really do hope that her bingo club does not become a casualty to the present circumstances that are plaguing the UK bingo industry.
Everyone at the Mecca Bingo club knows Lily and the Manager there says that she is the “perfect” bingo player.
