Nottingham Pensioner Finally Wins on the Bingo After Thirty Years of Playing

A Nottingham pensioner who has been playing bingo for thirty years ahs finally caught “the big one”. The seventy-four year old bingo winner got the National bingo prize of ₤61,580, the Regional prize of ₤3,009 and a house prize of ₤30 when she called full house in forty numbers. She was playing at the Gala Bingo club in St. Annes.

The lucky lady said that she was still in shock over he huge win but is eagerly anticipating spoiling her two daughters and grandchildren. She is also sticking to her guns and sharing the bingo prize money with her friend who regularly plays with her.

The woman, who is married, said that her husband wouldn’t believe her (isn’t this always the case?) and one of her daughters started to cry she was so surprised. She is still contemplating just what she is going to spend the money on and said it is a big deal as she has never had this kind of money before. She has been a member at the same Gala Bingo Club for nineteen years, and plays three times a week. She says that she has become part of the furniture there.
