Online Bingo Shows Good Growth

Figures have been revealed that show the UK online bingo market to be doing extremely well. The analysis of activity was taken over the summer period, when it was expected that there would be a “summer slow down” that is the months; July 1 to September 1. Across the board, the major online bingo brands are showing an 11% increase, this figure is for daily average players.

Co-founder and Managing Director of Bingo Port commented that this is a significant increase and that big brands are beginning to branch out into mainstream media to acquire new players and this has had the effect of encouraging new players who would never have even considered playing online bingo six months ago.

Another factor, even though this factor has been deemed to be detrimental to land based bingo, is the smoking ban. Due to the fact that so much publicity was given to the new smoking regulations or rather should I say non-smoking regulations, the increased media coverage has encouraged people to play online bingo.

Though increased online bingo demand is very good for the health of the UK online bingo industry, individual operators are battling to keep up with the demand for their services and this has created some dissatisfaction amongst online players who have to cram into bingo rooms with too many players, they definitely seem to prefer to play with no more than 20 – 40 players per bingo room.
