Tracey Firth a forty-four year old human resources officer from Gomersdal, persuaded her heavily pregnant daughter to accompany her to play bingo, hoping that she would either bring her luck or that the surprise of a win might also shock her daughter into labour, and even though she managed to win £18,200, she still had to wait for another five days to pass before the birth of her second grandchild.

Tracey played bingo that night at the Buckingham Bingo Club in Bradford and won the National prize of £30,860 which she had to share with another player in Dundee, after they both managed to call full house in forty-four numbers. She also went on to win £2,586 in the Regional prize and a house prize of £184.

Tracey has been playing at the Buckingham Bingo Club since it was opened and has been playing bingo since she was eighteen, she plays about once to twice a week with her mother and a couple of friends. She is completely delighted that her daughter joined them on this occasion as she is sure that she was her lucky omen. Tracey has shared the money with her friends, daughter and mum and they have all got big plans for the money.
