Sky Broadcasting Launches Bingo TV

The UK’s very own Sky Broadcasting has announced the launch of a new Bingo game on their channel. This interactive game is a new development that is thought to give the game of bingo, already huge in the UK, an even bigger boost. The reason for this is because they can watch telly and play at the same time. They don’t have to go to a club or go online to play.
I personally can’t see what all the excitement is about, Bingo TV is available already and reinventing the wheel doesn’t appear to be any huge new innovation to me. However, that being said the Sky TV marketing Director, Edward Moss, seems to think that “Sky Bingo” is how he put it “a revolutionary innovation”. I don’t know, I think they are clutching at straws a little, but then again, whatever floats your boat.
Selected games on Sky Bingo are free on a Monday and Thursday and apparently everything is in a new and exciting format. I suppose I will have to watch it properly before I can begin to critique this game. But I still believe they are flogging a dead horse, particularly as ITV’s Bingo Night Live is completely free. Sky is going to have to come up with something really special to beat that and I don’t think that “selected free games on a Monday and Thursday” is going to crack it.
Jackpot do start at ₤10 000 and I suppose that this is some incentive and there is a feature whereby Sky viewers are able to continue to watch their programme while the bingo plays in one corner of the screen, the game only showing leading tickets and each tickets remaining numbers.
