Summer Online Bingo Statistics

This past summer the online bingo industry experts expected that there would be a slowing of online bingo activity as people would be spending more time out of doors and on holiday and would not want to be in the online bingo chat rooms and playing games.

It was felt that in the summer months, people would not want to stay in-doors and play bingo, but would take advantage of the warmer weather.

A survey conducted on the British bingo player however, indicates that completely the opposite has taken place and even more British online bingo players were logging into their computers and playing. In actual fact the survey indicated that the last three months there has been an 11% hike in the average online bingo activity. These figures were extremely unexpected, but are taken from an analysis of all the major British bingo brands that provide online gaming.

Once again the reason cited for this, is the fact that smoking in bingo halls has been banned, so people are staying at home and partaking of bingo from the comfort of their own homes where they can quietly smoke their cigarettes in peace, and still play their favourite game. Also cited is the new Gambling Act which accordingly makes online bingo and online gaming in general much safer for the public to indulge in.

The only problem is that some of the smaller sites are battling to meet the demand of online bingo players.
