I love reading news of Bingo winners; it makes me feel all warm inside. Just such a winner is a 79 year old pensioner who was playing bingo in Wandsworth on the 9th September, at the Mecca Bingo Club.

Apparently a study recently conducted to coincide with the new Gambling Act (the last one was conducted in 1999) is going to contain some shocking numbers that will illustrate that there is an increase in the incidence of “problem gamblers” in the UK. What exactly a problem gambler, is it a nightly bingo player? What criteria are being used to be the judge of the person being given this noteworthy title?
