Think Bingo Sponsor The Jeremy Kyle Show

When switching my TV on today, I was surprised to see Think Bingo at the start and end of every commercial break of the Jeremy Kyle show instead of Foxy Bingo who I had got used to seeing by now. Cashcade currently sponsor the Jeremy Kyle show and they are now the owners of both bingo sites, so they must have decided to switch their advertising campaign to Think Bingo instead of their main site Foxy Bingo.

Whilst I think the Foxy Bingo advert is stylish and quite funny in places, the Think Bingo ad is just not on the same level as the fox, I actually quite like watching the Jeremy Kyle show but in the end I switched the TV back of again. Jeremy Kyle used to be backed by a government funded sponsor but they pulled out of their £500,000 a year deal with the show after concerns about its content.

Learn Direct were quoted as saying “continuing the deal would not protect and enhance its reputation.” A spokesperson for the government’s communications body, the Central Office of Information (COI), said: “The criticism of the show - sparked by Judge Alan Berg’s remarks earlier this week - means that both Ufi and the COI consider it no longer appropriate for Learn direct to be associated with the programme.”

This was when Cashcade stepped in and took over the sponsorship of the Jeremy Kyle show, there has been much debate since this transition took place, I personally don’t have a problem with it and the cashcade group are not the only bingo site to sponsor daytime TV shows, as ITV Bingo sponsor the popular Goldenballs TV show that is currently aired each weeknight on ITV1.

Think Bingo have recently introduced some mega guaranteed bingo games each week and just like Foxy Bingo their site has had a complete re-vamp, this may be one of the reasons why cashcade choose to remove Foxy Bingo from the limelight of the Jeremy Kyle show and replace it with Think Bingo.
