Was Bingo Win Beginners Luck?

Is there such a thing as beginners luck? Well many people seem to believe there is some truth in it, particularly if they win big the first time they ever play bingo. This was certainly the case for a forty-eight year old Social Worker from Bristol. The first time he ever went to play bingo, he was with some colleagues from work and they decided to go to the Mecca Bingo Club in Corporation Street, Taunton, where he won £45,000 plus the house prize of £67 when he called full house after 38 calls.
The man went to play bingo with five of his male colleagues to have a bit of a giggle, as they had decided before Christmas that they should do more socializing together, well to their complete and utter surprise, he won!
He says that he can’t really remember much about the win after he shouted “Bingo” he just got such a shock. He is going to share the money with his colleagues, but even though they have decided what they are going to do with their money, he doesn’t know yet what he will use his share of the winnings for. He said they had great fun, but he wasn’t going to play again for a while as he still had to recover from the shock.
